Majestically overlooking Bernex village is an iconic summit in the Chablais Massif and the Pays d’Evian Vallée d’Abondance. Culminating at 2222m high from the top you have an incredible panoramic view of the highest summits in the French and Swiss Alps, as well as the Jura and Lake Geneva.
Every summer (between 30th May and 15th September), you can enjoy an unforgettable experience and spend a night in the Dent d’Oche Refuge located at an altitude of 2113m , a mere 100m from the summit.
The Mont BénandDiscover the Chablais Geopark
A short walk that anyone can do. Its summit will reveal a magnificent view of the majestic Dent d’Oche, the Mémises mountain and the Gavot plateau.
A themed path, “Mont Bénand’s Confessions”, introduces you to Bernex’s habitat, vegetation and agricultural activities. The “Mont Bénand” is one of the Chablais Geopark’s iconic sites.
The Pays d'Evian Vallée d'Abondance
A rich geological history with the presence of numerous glaciers that have transformed over thousands of years and that formed the landscape and its life.
This heritage enabled Chablais to be recognised Geopark UNESCO. Discover the Chablais Geopark.

Le Col de Savalène (d'Arvouin) pass
Franco-Swiss pass nestled at 1856m above sea level, between Pointe d'Arvouin and Lenla (Linleu). This pass overlooks the valley and chalets of Savalène on Swiss territory as well as the mountain pasture and Lake Arvouin on French territory.
